¡¡Overview

RFID, Radio Frequency Identification, is an automatic identification method for storing information on RFID cards to monitor articles, products or people. RFID employs electric wave frequencies to read and identify cards by emitting electronic waves to a readable scanner. The RFID card records product information ranging from price to production flow data. The RFID cards are fixed upon articles surfaces or embedded into the products themselves. Then the RFID cards are read in and information updated by a readable scanner. The main attribute of electric label is to take advantage of non-contact operations of electric wave exchange information to read several cards information simultaneously by a readable scanner, through electric wave exchange information.

In recent years, the RFID application has been brought into the world commodity circulation, providing tracking and distribution management. The technology level has constantly improved and is being driven into China's Worldwide Manufacture Centers. Large scale manufactures are being pushed to employ and develop effective RFID management solutions. Moreover, many domestic governments and enterprise have already begun to apply RFID technology applications into its distribution management and storage links. In order to optimize large scale enterprises supply chain.

Chinasoft International Ltd. has taken the lead in applying RFID solutions for the tobacco industry information project construction. During the implementation process of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration industry tobacco manufacture operation management system, Chinasoft International established RFID application solution programs for enterprises palletized transport, according to their business operation traits and environment requirements. The system adopts embedded electronic 915 MHz high frequency labels. Each label is fixed upon tobacco finished product pallets, and a synchronized server stores bar code information corresponding to the electronic label UID. Through use of the RFID application, supply chain management overcomes traditional label shortages, information contamination, and misplaced etc. Moreover, it decreases greatly labor input and enhances productivity enormously, which shortens the tobacco shipment operation efficiency.
