Chinasoft International’s ResourceOne(R1) product is a flagship product of Chinasoft International’s middleware products. From April 2000 till now, Chinasoft International has conducted several times of reconstruction and continuous research and development, and successfully rolled out the comprehensive ResourceOne v3.5 platform product suite. This version takes the lead to adopt the SOA-based concept and technology architecture and continuously maintains its leading position in China’s application platform area. ResourceOne can provide the disassembly and flexibility of the product while providing strong functions and good technical services.
ResourceOne (hereafter referred to as R1) platform is a support platform for development, integration and project management based on the component and service technology, which can be used to create a basic support environment for e-government, e-business and e-enterprise information application systems. The R1 platform suite is a comprehensive information support platform that can support rapid application development， application integration， distribution management, business flow control and management, information data analysis and exhibition, data exchange and business collaboration.
R1 has been awarded China’s No.1 E-government Application Platform Brand by CCID in succession from 2002 to 2005. R1 makes full use of the mature technology to reduce the project construction cost and project risk. In combination with methodologies such as CMM, ISO9000, RUP and agile development and based on its own excellent platform products, Chinasoft International rolled out and improved R1 platform-based project construction management methodology and took the lead in China to put forward the “Overall-Separate-Overall” project construction mode, meaning that the construction of a large-scale application software system can be divided into the following phases: overall system consultancy/design, separate development of subsystems and the overall system integration. Such mode can implement the construction of different application software in different periods of time while the overall framework and demand remains unchanged. It can support the improvement and upgrade of application software while the demand evolves in details. It takes into full consideration of the common features and specific features of the application system and avoids repeated purchases of software/hardware support products. R1, oriented towards large industry/enterprise level applications, focuses firstly on creating the core integrated support environment oriented towards information exchange and flow management among application systems. For multi-point vertical industries and enterprises, especially, it is critical to provide such architecture. R1 focuses on addressing the information exchange, service scheduling and flow collaboration within and among widely deployed application components, and providing rapid response to the change of businesses.
The R1 information exchange system with R1 DataExchange (the principal of R1 ESB) as the core highlights follows the SOA-based concepts and technology architecture.
